Patriot Ice Center, owned by Black Bear Sports Group, Inc. is a multi-purpose sports facility located in Newark, Delaware. Opened in 1996, The 67,019 square-foot facility houses one NHL and one Olympic-sized ice rinks. Additionally, the facility is home to a number of on-site businesses including R&M Hockey Supply and Del-Mar Cafe. The ice rinks are complemented by party rooms that support a variety of corporate and community functions as well as group outings/field trips. The facility provides the community with various hockey and skate programs, public skating, drop ins, leagues, trade shows, and private rentals. Patriot Ice Center is the home to the Delaware Ducks Youth Travel Hockey Program, Patriot Figure Skating Club, and the Diamond State Curling Club.
