Event Organizer and Promoter Guide

I was someone with limited to no skating experience but a love for hockey, so when I saw the Foundry program available at PIC I was immediately interested. I was also apprehensive because I didn't know what to expect and I didn't know how someone with little to no experience would be treated in the program. My apprehension was put to rest in my first session, Coach Cannon and the rest of the participants were and have been nothing but supportive and welcoming. I just signed up for my third session and also the Foundry Draft League. I can't wait to continue my hockey journey at PIC!

We have two children skating at Patriot, one figure skating and the other is figure skating and playing ice hockey. Both love ice skating. The coaches and staff at Patriot have been fantastic and supportive, especially considering that I did not grow up figure skating or playing ice hockey so the help navigating the details of managing both sports has been invaluable. The ice show is a highlight of the year for both kids.

Our daughter started skating at the PIC in 2015 with LTS classes and she’s continued her training to move up the freestyle levels at the PIC year after year. The outstanding coaching staff, the supportive Patriot Figure Skating Club, Laura and Leon in the café, and the other skaters and parents have all made it easy to proudly call the Patriot our home ice. Our skater feels confident and comfortable when stepping on the ice whether it’s to practice, compete, test, or participate in one of the very well produced shows offered by the PIC. We’re grateful to have this amazing resource so close to home!
