The Flyers Rookie Program is a six-week learn-to-play initiative for first-time youth hockey players that features FREE head-to-toe equipment for participants. Part of a National Hockey League-wide initiative in partnership with the National Hockey League Players’ Association, the Flyers Rookie Program aims to teach first-time players the basic skills of hockey while focusing on important “off-ice” skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and respect.

Stick time where you can work on your skills independently or take a private lesson (sold separately).

  • Helmet and gloves required. Full equipment recommended.
  • Before getting on the ice, participants must sign in and pay at front desk window or present online receipt.
  • Customers under 18 require a parent/guardian signature.
  • Private lesson instructors must contact the GM for coaching privileges. Coaches must have evidence of liability insurance on file with PIC. No exceptions.

Camp runs 8:30am-4:30pm each day!

- 15 hours of ice time that includes individual skill work and small area game play.

- 3 off ice workouts (M,W,F) including off ice footwork and mental preparation drills.

- 2 video sessions (T,TH)- Players will be taught to self-assess.

Focus on individual player growth. Skating, passing, shooting and hockey IQ.

Players will be grouped with like-skill players to learn at correct pace.

March 20th- 7:00 pm-8:00pm - Bantams, Midgets (Birth years 2011-2006)

Points of Emphasis - passing, decision making. Coach Sean Cannon & Coach Ensley Milton

Points of emphasis - Small area games. Players will be separated into teams and work on skills such as possession, puck protection and decision making while competing. Coach Sean Cannon


March 27th 8:30pm-9:30pm - Bantams , Midgets (Birth years 2011-2006)

Points of Emphasis-  High tempo drills, up and down the ice. Drills will be run at game speed. Players will receive a lot of puck touches with passing and attacking for Forwards, Defense will work on gap control and angling. Coach Sean Cannon & Coach Brody Ford

The Little Ducks Learn to Play Hockey Rookie Program offers FREE GEAR for first time players included with registration. Players should complete Pre-Hockey 1 & 2 in the Learn to Skate program before signing up, or receive instructor permission. The Rookie Program introduces players to shooting, passing, stickhandling and other fundamental skills. Full hockey equipment is required.

GET IN THE GAME!

The largest co-ed adult learn to play hockey program in the U.S.A. This program is open to adults 18+ who have never played hockey. It will combine on-ice skills sessions with instructional games. During this program, participants will learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey, including how to skate if they’ve never done so before. In addition, they will get a chance to play the greatest game on Earth.
